Conik Runyon is the Owner of Basecamp Fitness West Loop. His passion for fitness began when he was around 16 years old and today, he still loves every second of it. He was born and raised in Stillwater Minnesota, and after high school, attended college at Loyola Chicago. During his senior year of college, I signed his Franchisee Agreement with Basecamp Fitness and spent his last months of college in Santa Monica CA learning from Basecamp’s very best!
He chose the franchise route because it provided him with the structure and support he needed to grow his first business. Basecamp not only provides him with the ability to workout for a living, but he also gets to surround myself with amazing people who strive to better themselves every single day. This is not only a gym business, it is also a networking business, he was able to join the Chicago Marathon a week before it started through his network. He also has started another business venture with a current member and even met his girlfriend from his gym.
